Our Holiday lights are flashing brightly on Jill Snipes, an associate in our Dunwoody location.  Jill and her husband Tom have been residents of the Dunwoody community since 1994.  They reside there with their two "furry kids", dogs Maddy and Max.  Jill has two stepkids, Megan and Benjamin who complete the Snipes family.  Jill has been with Southern Comforts almost five years. She "landed" here after 32 years as a flight attendant and brings her wonderful background  and experiences in meeting and serving  people to our business.  Jill's skills as a decorator are famous among our Southern Comforts family.  Her expertise with color, pattern and use of space keeps our Dunwoody store interesting and looking great.  Jill recently got to share her wonderful  eye for decorating with the community as her house was on this year's Dunwoody tour of homes.  She has also been instrumental in helping us get the new East Cobb store off to a good start with her special touch.  Jill loves the camaraderie she has found in her Southern Comforts family of coworkers, consignors and customers.  She loves to see the variety of decorating items that come into the store and how others use them.  To Jill, the lifetime of friendships she has found at Southern Comforts is a true blessing. If you would like to spend a few minutes in great company, look for Jill when you are next in our Dunwoody location.  She will make your day brighter and you will walk away smiling.

             Talk Thrift Diva

         Makes a Return Visit

Barb Tobias, the Talk Thrift Diva is returning to Atlanta and Southern Comforts!  On Thursday, December 16th, we will host Barb in our Dunwoody store from 7-9PM.  Barb is on the second leg of her "Frugal is Chic" tour.  She uses humor and life experience to share her wealth of knowledge on frugal shopping, consignment, and thrifty living.  She will be sharing holiday tips on how to outfit yourself  and your home for the holidays with elegance on a budget!  Registration for the event is now open and we encourage you to sign up early as this event will be popular.  The fee is $20 per person, which includes the program, refreshments and a copy of Barb's new book, "Tossed and Found", which she will be available to sign that night.
