Qualitative changes from aquatic therapy piqued Kentucky researcher's curiosity
The results of a small autism pool-therapy study in Louisville did not turn out as planned. But while the children showed little improvement in standardized tests, it was their progress in social language and interaction that intrigued Beth Ennis, assistant professor of physical therapy at Bellarmine University. So much so that she is now looking to expand it to a full-year research program to find out more.
