Last Chance to Attend Pre-Retirement Seminar | | |
A few spots are still available for our upcoming Pre-Retirement Seminar, May 1 & 2, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5001 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN.
 This is a two-day pre-retirement seminar for pastors, rostered laypersons and lay employees in the ELCA Pension and Other Benefits Program, offered by Portico Benefits Services (formerly ELCA Board of Pensions). In this seminar you will explore issues that form the foundation of a healthy retirement, and learn how your financial decisions can help you achieve your retirement dreams. Persons who will be 50 years of age or over are invited to attend. The seminar leader is Barbara Debski, Regional representative, Portico Benefit Services.

 Interim pastor sought for the International Church of Vilnius, Lithuania. June-July 2012, or a 90-day period between December 2012-July 2013.
Congregation provides modern efficiency flat with small kitchen and bath, utilities, wireless internet, television, and local cell phone. Laundry one floor below. Interim pastor is responsible for airfare and living expenses. Valid passport required for period of service plus six months.

Christian Community Leaders Luncheon

 Keynote speaker Jeffery Tobias Halter will discuss how to keep your business afloat in stormy waters in his keynote address: "Your Business, 2020 - Smooth Waters or a Perfect Storm." Mr. Halter is the former Director of Diversity Strategy at The Coca-Cola Company and is currently a consultant, author, gender strategist and the President of YWomen, a strategic consulting company. Foundation for the Future Golf Outing
 Join us for the 6th Annual Foundation for the Future Golf Outing to support the Lutheran Services of Georgia Foundation and Endowment Fund. The event will be held on May 7 at the Coweta Club at Arbor Springs, 300 Arbor Springs Pkwy, Newnan, GA 30265.
