A quick note from Sandra Braasch, Synod Disaster Response Coordinator:

  

"Assessment in the Tuscaloosa and Cullman areas continues.  Emergency Management authorities are asking everyone to remain out of these area until an all-clear has been declared."

 

"We have heard from almost all of our Synod Disaster responders. Reports from around the synod indicate that, while most of our congregations have had little or no damage, several residential areas where congregation members live have been hit hard.  The Synod Disaster Response coordinators and Disaster Preparedness and Response Task Force will be meeting via conference calls over the next few days to plan strategies."
