Needed: Additional Candidates for 2011 Churchwide Assembly Voting Members

Deadline Extended to Friday, April 16 

The Synod's Nominating Committee has extended the deadline for the receipt of nomination forms for all elections that will take place at this year's synod assembly in Chattanooga. The Nominating Committee is especially seeking additional lay males, persons of color, youth (under age 18), and young adults (ages 18-30) who are interested in being considered as potential voting members of the next churchwide assembly, scheduled for August 14-20, 2011 in Orlando, Florida. If you or someone you know would like to be considered for nomination, be sure that the online nomination form is completed no later than Friday, April 16. Those who are unable to access the online form may call the synod office at 404-589-1977 to have a paper form mailed to them.
