Recently in Malaysia, extremists have firebombed several Christian
church buildings, including one congregation of the Lutheran Church in
Malaysia, one of our companion synods. Bishop Philip Lok has asked us
to pray for the people involved and for all the people of Malaysia. Two
letters from Bp. Lok with details of the firebombing are available at
this link. Please remember our brothers and sisters in our companion
synod in your prayers and in the intercessions of your congregation this
week.
