BRIGHT BEGINNINGS | |

 The Y makes strengthening communities our cause. We strongly believe that children, who have the necessities they need to succeed, can focus on learning rather than worrying about having shoes to wear on the playground and crayons to color their assignments. By pairing a child with a caring adult volunteer "shopping buddy," children also learn that our community cares about them and wants them to succeed. YMCA Bright Beginnings makes for confident and prepared kids on the first day of school and contributing and engaged adults tomorrow.

DOGGY DIP | |

 It's not every day that you can bring your four-legged friend to the pool! Join us on Tuesday, August 21st for the Doggy Dip. Bring your dogs, 35 pounds and under, to the Lap Pool from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Dogs 36 pounds and up can swim 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

ANNUAL FACILITY SHUTDOWN | |

It's that time of year! The Hampton Family YMCA will be doing our annual maintenance at the end of the month.
August 22nd - September 3rd: Lap Pool and Teaching Pool closed for re-plastering
August 29th and 30th: YMCA Closed; Welcome Center will be open for phone calls 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, School-Age registrations 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Please remember that you are a member at all of the Peninsula Metropolitan branches. We encourage you to check out the Newport News and Victory branches while Hampton is closed. |

SCHOOL-AGE REGISTRATION | |
|
 Register now for our School-Age program available from the first day of school until the last day of school from 6:00 AM until school opening and from school dismissal to 6:00 PM. Transportation is provided for most Hampton City Schools.
Please bring copies of: school physical (must be within the past 24 months), shot record and original birth certificate to complete your registration. Due to state licensing requirements, incomplete registrations cannot be processed.
Registration is held at the Hampton Family YMCA, Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM or by appointment. |
