OLD POINT TIDEWATER TRIATHLON
The Hampton Family YMCA is excited to be partnered with theApril 2011 Old Point Tidewater Triathlon Old Point Tidewater Triathlon for the third year in a row!

 

We are looking for volunteers to help on Saturday, June 9th in a variety of positions-you and your family can work together while helping your community. Volunteers recruited will help families in our area be a part of the Hampton Family YMCA through our Strong Communities Campaign.

 

You can register to volunteer at our Welcome Center or online at www.peninsulaymca.org. Please contact Lee Grandison, Senior Wellness and Membership Director, at lee.grandison@peninsulaymca.org.

EARN FREE MONTHS

As a Y member, you already know the value of all the programs, classes, and services we offer. Now you can earn free months of membership when your friends, family and coworkers join.

 

For each new member who drops your name when they join, you receive a free month of membership!

 

There's no limit; if 10 friends join, you earn 10 free months! And they don't have to pay the joining fee - it's such a win-win! It will be even more fun to workout with and see your friends at the Y; why not tell your friends about the Y today?

 

Find guest passes at the Welcome Center or online at peninsulaymca.org. Distribute to your friends and family and receive one free month of membership for each new referral who joins!

PENINSULA PILOTS YMCA NIGHT

Join us at the Historic War Memorial Stadium for a YMCA Family Night on Saturday, June 16th to see the Peninsula Pilots play the Morehead City Marlins!

 

See the Welcome Center for complimentary tickets - bring the whole family!

SUMMER CAMP AT THE FORT

Through the Hampton Family YMCA, kids can experience Summer Camp at Fort Monroe. Summer Camp provides a time for kids to explore talents, build values, develop skills, and maximize fun. The unique venue of Fort Monroe allows for a range of traditional camp activities including boating, fishing, outdoor exploration, and even some local history.

Registration is ongoing. Bring your child's shot record, physical, and original birth certificate to the Welcome Center to register today!

Thank you for supporting our first annual Silent Auction. You August 2011 Volunteer Oppall helped us raise $2300! This allows two children to attend Summer Camp for 10 weeks and two children to learn how to swim.

 

Thank you for supporting the community in youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

 

DONATE USED ITEMS

We are seeking to offer traditional camp activities to children this summer, but we need your help!

 

Please consider donating used equipment such as:

  • Small boats (kayaks, canoes)
  • Paddles
  • Digital Cameras
  • Photo Printers
  • Bikes (to be used by teenagers)
  • Tents
