May 2011 Enjoy Healthy EatingExplore the unlimited possibilities of dynamic dining! Get your kids to eat healthy and satisfy even the most finicky family members' pallets. Discover healthy ways to plan and prepare appetizing meals and snacks in this interactive, hands-on nutrition workshop.

 

This workshop is led by Gabrielle Willis, the Y's Registered Dietician and is free to all members. Those who attend are entered to win special door prizes.

 

Join us May 11th 6:30-7:30 PM. Y members 18 and over register at the Welcome Center.

RUN FOR THE DREAM

Run for a Dream

The Peninsula Metropolitan YMCA is supporting the 2011 Run for the Dream to benefit An Achievable Dream and Wounded Warriors.

 

Visit www.runforachievabledream.com for more information on how to register for the 8K Run/Walk on May 21st or the Half Marathon on May 22nd. Also be sure to check out the family volunteer opportunities available on both days!

SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION

March 2011 Day CampIt's not too late to sign up for our Summer Day Camp!

 

Camp is open 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. Cost is $85/week for Members and $100/week for Program Participants.

 

To ensure that each camper receives the highest quality experience possible, we must limit enrollment for each session. Please bring copies of: school physical (must be within the past 24 months), shot record and original birth certificate to complete your registration. Due to state licensing requirements, incomplete registrations cannot be processed.

  
Registration is held at the Hampton Family YMCA, Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM or by appointment.

POOL CLOSING

You may have seen the signs posted around the Y, but we'd just like to remind you that the pool will be closed Sunday, May 15th for an association training.
