EXCITING CHANGES - SAME MISSION 
| | | It is an exciting time in the YMCA movement! Recently, our national organization, the YMCA of the USA, launched a new branding strategy which includes a new logo and the introduction of three areas of focus: youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. This new spin on our old favorites allows the YMCA mission "to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all" to be clearer and louder than ever before.
Our YMCA plans to roll out the new brand over the course of the next sixteen months; we invite you to share in our excitement as we embrace and begin the changes! |

 As a YMCA member, you can help your friends and family to have a fresh start toward their health and well-being by inviting them to join you at the Y! We're waiving the joining fee September 7 - 28.
Active YMCA members have a sharper mind, a more peaceful spirit, greater self-assurance, and a sense of community; all fueled by an overwhelming spirit of belonging. And of course, we've made sure that membership is affordable for everyone regardless of their household income.

| YMCA LEADERS' CLUB | |  Do you have a teen in the 7th-12th grades? Are they interested in a fun way to make life-long friends and make an impact in their community? YMCA Leaders' Club may be for them! The Hampton Family YMCA Leaders' Club focuses on developing teens to be leaders in their community through weekly meetings, volunteerism, leadership training, fitness training, fundraising and team development. Some important dates and information if interested: September 28: Teen Interest Meeting 6:30-7:30pm October 5: Parent Meeting 6:30-7:30pm October 12: All applications and fees due Regular meetings every Tuesday, 6:30-7:30pm
Registration:
Members: One time fee of $55

| PROGRAM UPDATES | |
Swim Team
Come join the best activity in town, the Hampton Family YMCA Swim Team! This program helps continue your swimmers' improvements with swimming and fitness. The Snappers is a fun and competitive team, with the emphasis on FUN!
The team practices every Monday and Wednesday (5:30-6:30pm or 6:30-8:00pm) with swim meets on Saturdays once a month. Each swimmer recieves a Hampton Family YMCA Snappers t-shirt and swim cap. The season begins September 8th so do not delay!

The Cost: Members $125.00 Program Participants $175.
Before and After School Program
For the times you can't be there yourself, the YMCA supports your efforts to nuture your school age child's healthy development. Well-trained staff provide safe, affordable, high-quality care so you can have peace of mind while you work.
Locations: The Hampton Family YMCA currently provides transportation to and from all Hampton City Schools.
Adult Sports Are you looking for a recreation sports league? Several adult sports leagues including Men's Flag Football, Coed Volleyball, Women's Volleyball and Indoor Soccer.
