Get Involved!
Strong Communities Campaign The Strong Communities Campaign is an annual volunteer fundraising campaign that secures funds to assist people from our communities in their time of need; no one is turned away from YMCA programs due to inability to pay full fees.
The Hampton Family YMCA has provided $468,362 of financial assistance to families, youth, and the community. We have served 100 children through the Bright Beginnings program which provides children with the clothes supplies necessary to begin a new school year.
Help keep our community strong! Ask our Welcome Center today about how you can help.

Aquatic Update Reminders
Improve your Aquatic experience
Aquatic Quick Check
Quick check cards are posted in the lobby of the Aquatic Center along with the comment box. Please use the cards to comment about our Aquatics program and facility. We appreciate your comments to continue the success of our Aquatic Center. Know the Lifeguards
Look on the lifeguard stand to find the name and certifications of each lifeguard. We invite you to introduce yourself to the lifeguard, but please avoid lengthy conversation; we take aquatic safety very seriously, it is important for guards to maintain visual contact with the pool at all times.
New! Teaching Pool Hours
Bring your family in for some fun in the water for our newly added open swim hours in our Teaching Pool! Open swim is for children 9 years of age and younger with in-water supervision by an adult 18 or older.
Tuesday | 6:00pm - 8:00pm Thursday | 6:30pm - 8:00pm
For more information about these Aquatic updates, please contact Eric Hecker, Aquatics Director at (757) 722-9044 Ext. 216 or at Eric.Hecker@peninsulaymca.org. |
