New Cardio Equipment EtiquetteNext
The Hampton Family YMCA is implementing a new cardio sign up system called "Next Tag" beginning Monday, October 5, 2009.
How it works:

If equipment is in use,
  • remove the "Next Tag" from the front of the cardio machine of your choice.
  • Continue your workout on other equipment while waiting for your cardio machine.
  • When your cardio machine becomes available, place the  "Next Tag" back in the holder and begin your workout.
  • If the "Next Tag" is missing and no one returns within 5 minutes the cardio machine is considered open and you may use it.

We hope this new system will allow an enjoyable workout for everyone.  If you have any questions, please see a staff member.

FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT

We had our first family movie night on Saturday, September 26.  We had great turnout with 40 members attending to see the Disney Movie Bolt.  This free event included popcorn, arts and crafts and games. The Leaders Club even sold refreshments.
Look for more of these events throughout the year. For more information about movie nights or to share ideas for future family events please contact Soy Kompradith at soy.kompradith@peninsulaymca.org or 757-722-9044.
