For a Healthy Heart, Don't Skip Breakfast
Results showed that people who skipped breakfast had a larger waist size and higher cholesterol. Prior research suggests that breakfast eaters may be healthier than people who skip breakfast, and now a study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition suggests a nutritious breakfast may be especially good for your heart. Specifically, the recent study shows that regular breakfast eaters may reduce risk factors linked to heart disease.

No Gold, But We Do Have Frankincense and Myrrh
Myrrh was one of the most popular aromatics of ancient times. It was widely used in incense and perfumes, and Egyptians not only used it as a cosmetic, but as an offering during sun worship at Heliopolis every day at noon. It has a musky, balsamic aroma. Frankincense Oil reveals a deep aroma that is fresh and resinous, accented by subtle hints of citrus and camphor. It celebrates a rich history that can be traced back to biblical periods, and is used today to inspire feelings of serenity and calmness.

Rid Yourself of Back and Neck Pain
(provided by Smith Chiropractic Health Care)
Overall, 80% of Americans will experience back pain sooner or later, this creates several challenges for most of us. Back problems are the most common reason for disability under the age of 45. Often times, we don't know our back is in trouble until the condition is advanced, which makes it more difficult to treat. In other words, pain is the last thing to show up. Part of the reason for this is most of the nerves inside our body carry function and not pain, meaning that as our spine starts to come out of alignment, we don't feel the pain of the condition until the condition is somewhat advanced. This makes it much more difficult to treat.

HEALTHY HUMOR | |
A family had twin boys whose only resemblance to each other was their looks. If one felt it was too hot, the other thought it was too cold. If one said the TV was too loud, the other claimed the volume needed to be turned up. Opposite in every way, one was an eternal optimist, the other a doom & gloom pessimist.
Just to see what would happen, on the twins' birthday their father loaded the pessimist's room with every imaginable toy and game. The optimist's room he loaded with horse manure. That night the father passed by the pessimist's room and found him sitting amid his new gifts crying bitterly.
"Why are you crying?" the father asked.
"Because my friends will be jealous, I'll have to read all these instructions before I can do anything with this stuff, I'll constantly need batteries, and my toys will eventually get broken." answered the pessimist twin.
Passing the optimist twin's room, the father found him dancing for joy in the pile of manure. "What are you so happy about?" he asked.
To which his optimist twin replied, "There's got to be a pony in here somewhere!"
