It's an annual tradition with many vying to achieve their ideal weight and others planning to quit smoking and while some of these New Year's resolutions may seem like difficult goals one expert says they can be achieved if you create new habits.
Athletes Nation personal trainer Dan LaJoie works with some of the province's most elite athletes and he says the same principles he applies to his clients can be used by the average person.
"You set goals first, you come up with a plan and then with that plan you start to create some habits and then with those habits you start to get results," LaJoie said.
