Absolutely
Not. This free gift promises to be the best booty you have ever
received just for walking in a door. Seriously, this amazing free giveaway is worth getting out of bed for, so great in fact, you may wonder how you have survived without this life enhancing free prize, it makes you instantly cooler and harnesses the power of adorable puppies ....okay ...... It's a sticker. maybe it's not even that great of a sticker, but it is 100% Free.
What if I can't make the show, but really want to see what you are showing?
What! Attendance is mandatory, don't you read the extra fine print?
However If you live in a different zip code or happen to be "getting your hair did" for the entire 23 days of the show, I understand things can get complicated, I have made arrangements. Artwork will be available for viewing on my website in March and some artwork will be available as limited edition prints.
Why would I want an original when I can left click on your website and save
your drawings to look at whenever I want?
When you left click on an image and save it to your desktop your internet service provider flags your account indicating your subversive disposition, often these encrypted images contain highly classified information putting the entire universe at risk. In addition the eyestrain associated with viewing pixelated cyber images is the leading cause of anything that can go wrong, actually in fact going wrong.
What if I fall in love with an existing drawing, but would prefer if there was a picture
of my face on top of the existing face.
You are welcome to purchase the piece and stand in front of it while looking in a mirror, or commission a similar item.
Can I come just for the food ?
Yes, but don't put it in your pockets.
What if I can't afford your priceless artworks, but happen to have a wealthy eccentric
friend looking to redecorate his summer home(s).
Play it cool, do not panic, gently ease said friend into your passenger seat and apply seat belt with tender pressure. DO NOT drive recklessly or eat any allergen containing foods prior to Gallery Opening.
Who is Xan Nichols and what makes her so fantastic?
Xan Nichols will be performing at Gallery 209, I haven't met Xan in person yet, but I have completely cyber stalked her to the point of knowing her, and we are facebook friends, which affords me the luxury of feeling like I know her. You can check out a few songs on Xan's myspace page and become an instant fan. Then we can All know her, which will be awesome and make me appear less creepy. She came to my attention through my dear friend, illustration twin and Calendar genius ( you NEED his calendar ) Pilliard Dickle who has done much to record and promote her talent and creativity. I am thrilled that she will be playing during the opening reception on First Friday,
Now if only I can get her to write me a theme song...
What if I don't "get it"?
All artwork is titled , labeled and explained in detail, and I am always available for translating my own self. If you still don't "get it" you may be gazing at an electrical outlet, these came with the building, there is no hidden meaning.
What took you so long to have an Art Show when you are clearly not getting any younger?
I generally try to avoid the terror of leaving my comfort zone, however with uncanny predictability, every worthwhile life experience seems to linger just outside the boundaries. I think I was pushed. Thank you.

I did not send out a holiday card this year, if I had, this would have been it. Illustrating my new mission to eliminate wrapping paper while bringing the blindfold back into popularity. Now if you want to join the fight and send them out next year they are for sale here
 I have been riding an illustration rollercoaster
the past few months.On the upside, The poster project that I was working on for the University of Georgia Marine Extension secured additional grant money so that we can finish the series and publish it into a book. I can not tell you how excited I am about this and will be working on it over the next few months.I am also working on an illustrated booklet about Acne. If anyone has ever come up to you on the street and asked " Do you have anything I can pick at?" It was probably me. I enjoy skin issues so much that sometimes I can't sleep , so This project also has me dancing around in the street !Another interesting loop-d-loop comes in the form of the Avondale Point Mural contest that I entered last year. I did not win that contest. I did however come in third place so that was cool, especially because more than 3 people entered the contest. The odd twist is My Mural somehow ended up being printed in the end. The Mural is16ft x 16ft  and on the thumb of the Children's Cancer Society Thrift Store on Savannah Highway. It was unveiled by the Mayor of Charleston no less. A special edition of this drawing will be available at my show. While working on this logo for a restaurant in Princeton NJ. I was completely inspired by cherry blossoms and have incorporated them into several recent works.
