me at age 13. Very much hoping I have matured

A NEW IDEA

Second Helpings provides a lovingly handcrafted
set of Dishes to women and families
who find themselves starting over following
misfortune.
Leaving Shelters, Safe Houses,
Recovering from the loss of a home or any
circumstance in which
personal effects have been lost. We offer
this token towards a new beginning.
Second Helpings is a small local
happening. A group of women gathering
together for food, fun and conversation. This
event serves as both a Women's night out and
an opportunity to provide a meaningful gift
to other women in our community.
Understanding that the gift of a set of
dishes is not a financial windfall nor a real
leg up on the struggles of the world, Second
Helpings believes that when starting over, a
gift can add value to ones day, bring a
family together for a meal and hope for new
tomorrows. Trying to build a home from
scratch without meaningful possessions is
daunting, this simple gift of homemade
pottery is a way for women to come together
and create a world table.

A NEW ME
|
|
All right...It's the same old me. But if you
haven't heard from me in a while, I am still
living in Brunswick GA, right on the
coast. It smells like paper and gnats here.
But it has armadillos...Needless to say I
love it! We have been here for 5 years and have
two boys. Ogden is 2 and likes applesauce and
trucks. Kosmo is 7 months "already!", he
likes to hold hands and projectile vomit.
My Husband Tim works in the printing ink
industry. He enjoys outsmarting our
rambunctious dogs and collecting roadside
treasures in the back of his truck. Tim Hose
