A Press Release from new HomePNA member Connexion Technologies

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Connexion Technologies joins the HomePNA Alliance
Technology company joins largest wired home networking technology alliance.

Cary, North Carolina, Jan. 18, 2010- Connexion Technologies recently joined the HomePNA Alliance, an association of service providers and equipment manufacturers that supports the use of HomePNA home networking technology, a key component of a growing number of telcos' network operations.

"We are happy to welcome Connexion Technologies into HomePNA and pleased to be part of their advanced technology solution," said Bill Simmelink, president of HomePNA. "The alliance is focused on helping telecommunications companies such as Connexion successfully deploy leading edge services."

Connexion Technologies utilizes these devices in more than 20 properties nationwide to enable the delivery of services in existing homes and has plans to utilize them in almost all future projects. HomePNA enables Connexion to transmit services over its cutting edge fiber-optic networks to TVs within the home homes over the existing coaxial cable wiring, without any loss of quality.

"HomePNA technology allows us to support high levels of service that would normally not be possible in homes with existing coaxial cable networks," said Dan Waugh, VP of System Integration at Connexion Technologies. "Thanks to these devices we can offer all the benefits of a fiber-optic network without replacing existing wiring."

In recent years four of the top five largest carriers in North America deploying IPTV have selected HomePNA. These devices help service providers reduce installation costs by over $300 million. Reports also found that telcos that have deployed HomePNA generally experience higher fixed line retention, higher revenues, and greater customer satisfaction.
