Dear Forklift Fan,
Happy Independence Day! We hope you enjoy some time with family and friends - the warehouse will be closed on Wednesday, July 4th, in celebration of the holiday.
Do you miss Community Forklift terribly when we're closed? Well, you can always visit us and bid on items at our brand new Ebay store!
We've also got a lot of fun events coming up in July, so read on for all the news!

 Important Storage Policy Change
 We currently provide a free storage service when you purchase a large item at Community Forklift. Although it means extra paperwork for our staff, we know it's worth it because it gives you time to arrange for transportation; to round up strong friends, and borrow or rent a truck.
Unfortunately, it's become so popular that we're running out of room! We've even had to turn down new donations because our floor was full of stored items. So, we have to make a change:
Starting July 1st,
we can only store items for 1 week. (Previously the storage period was 2 weeks.)
It is less convenient, but we feel it's much better than eliminating storage entirely. Thanks for your understanding as we enter our busiest summer ever!  |
Mosaic Stepping Stone Workshop
Community Forklift will be hosting its first in a series of
How-To Workshops Saturday July 28th 1-3:30pm
Forklift Fan Jenny Marsh will lead a demonstration on how to make a garden stepping stone by recycling CF's used ceramic tiles. Please email Bea(at)CommunityForklift.com with your name and number of participants - supervised children are welcome to attend "Pay-what-you-can" cash donations to cover the cost of materials used during the workshop are appreciated!

This month, all sizes of PVC joints, elbows, couplers, and other fittings are just 10 cents each, and all sizes of basic steel and iron fittings are 25 cents each (limit 50 per customer. Sale does not include copper fittings, faucets, or other types of plumbing parts). |

Take half off the regular price on all salvaged pine trim. Regularly 15 cents to $1.00 a linear foot - now just 8 cents to 50 cents a foot! Pay just two bucks each for all "orphan" kitchen cabinets with orange price tags of $20 or less (Sale does not include vanity cabinets, medicine cabinets, cabinet sets, other types of furniture, or cabinets with missing or damaged price tags)
