Dear Forklift Fan,

There's a lot of fun stuff happening! Read on for details about how to win a free rain barrel, our Buy the Building Dance Party, and more.

Also, THIS Saturday, May 26 is a great day to visit Community Forklift.  From 10am - 1pm, it's your last chance check out the NFI plant sale.  Then, from 1pm - 5pm, join us for our volunteer day to clean up our watershed!

It's also a good time to shop - we have cool lights from various decades, there's still a selection of eco-friendly flooring and decorative plaster trim, and the most exciting news: we have just received DOZENS of beautiful fridges and glass-top stoves.

Hope to see you soon!

One week left to win
a rain barrel

Community Forklift will be raffling off this rain barrel on Friday June 1st (the winner does NOT have to be present to win).

Rain barrels are great because they allow you to reduce your water bill - but they're also wonderful because they reduce hot, dirty runoff into our rivers and the Chesapeake Bay!   Not only that, but they can be a very useful tool against basement water problems.

This particular rain barrel is a $90 value,
from the Arlington Echo Outdoor Education Center -

(Proceeds support our Building Fund - we hope to purchase and repair our warehouse, ensuring that we remain a permanent resource for the region).

Tickets are also available for sale at the warehouse
until May 31st.
