Wanna be interviewed by White House staff?

Can you talk about how you benefit from Community Forklift?

We've just learned that we may be featured in a video - it is being developed by presidential staff to highlight green businesses and jobs.  We are looking for folks who are willing to be interviewed here at the warehouse.  We are especially interested in business owners, but all stories will be considered. If you can talk about how you have saved money, or pleased clients, by donating or shopping at Community Forklift, please send an email to [email protected]

Include your name, business name if applicable, phone, email address, and a few lines about what you do, and how you have benefited from going green and/or saving some green at Community Forklift.

Hi Forklift Fans!

Just a last minute, URGENT request:  we need volunteers this Saturday! If you have been thinking about volunteering for a while, now is the time to do it - you will really make a difference.

One of our staff members will be out, so we'll be short-handed helping customers...but we've also been invited to two festivals!  Festivals are a great chance for us to spread the word about the benefits of reuse, so we don't want to miss them.  Because it's so important to round up some help, we are offering DOUBLE STORE CREDIT on Saturday.  That's right, you can earn $10 in store credit for every hour you volunteer.

Let me know ASAP if you can help out!  You can reach me at 301-985-5180, or [email protected].  Send me your phone number, name, and let me know if you have completed an orientation already (not required).
