Stratus Winery invites you to taste their new wines produced in collaboration with renowned winemaker Paul Hobbs. 

Since its inception over a decade ago, Stratus has remained at the forefront of quality wine making in Ontario. Innumerable accolades and 90+ points scores testify to this strive for excellence, however, excellence is not a destination but a journey.

With this in mind, from the 2009 vintage onwards Stratus has enlisted the talents of Paul Hobbs, one of the world's top winemaking consultants to collaborate with winemaker J-L Groux to coax even more from the vineyard, resulting in even more complex wines.  Paul makes his own wines in California (Paul Hobbs Winery and CrossBarn) as well as Argentina (Vina Cobos).

The fruits of this collaboration are the 2009 Stratus Chardonnay, 2009 Stratus Malbec and 2009 Stratus Syrah, all of which are grown at Stratus' estate vineyard in Niagara-on-the-Lake.  These wines along with a large selection of the Stratus portfolio will be presented with exciting hors d'oeuvres of c5 Restaurant's celebrity chef Corbin Tomaszeski.
