Greetings from Brussels!
It has been a busy but enjoyable summer! Our work at CTS continues to impact students lives from around the world. Thanks for taking a moment to see what we have been up to. We appreciate your support and continued prayers for our family and ministry here in Belgium! |
| Graduation |
|
In early June we celebrated CTS graduation. It is always with mixed emotions that we say goodbye to our students. After at least three years of ministry together and investing into their lives, we will miss them greatly here at CTS. But we are confident that God has great things planned for them in the future! This year's graduating class represented eleven countries. Many are already full time pastors, others are seeking new ministry opportunities, and some plan to continue their education.
Each of them have their own personal story and I wish we could share with you each one. Allow me to share with you just a few... At left, Sam is from Finland and is a gifted musician and student leader. He completed his degree with a Music and Worship specialization and returned to Finland. He is also a budding film maker and dreams of being involved producing Christian films someday. Standing next to him, Abigail grew up in Hungary as a missionary kid, and was also very involved in music and worship leading this year. She was married shortly after graduation to Dan (not pictured) a CTS alumni from 2010 and they are now pastoring in Ohio.
David, from France graduated this year with his MTh degree and was married this summer to Daisy who is from Reunion Island. Together they plan to continue ministry in France
Please pray with us that God will bless all of our graduates as they go and guide them in finding their next places of ministry! |
 | Spring Concert |
We were privileged this year to host Eden Choir as our special guests at our annual spring outreach concert. This high quality, and high energy, gospel choir is directed by CTS alumni Salvator Sorce and also includes many CTS alumni among its members. Their music was great and included a strong message of Christ. Many from our surrounding community were present and enjoyed a time of fellowship afterward. These concerts are great first steps into our neighboring community since most Europeans love music and many would attend a concert who would never visit a local church, if they even knew how to find one! |

Thank you for praying for our family. Being a family of FIVE was a big adjustment, but is feeling more normal all the time. With three children, we are now considered a large family by Belgian standards. It is surprising how much change adding one tiny baby can bring! Laura is a very happy baby and is enjoying her big brothers as they vie for her attention. Ben and Nathan begin full time Kindergarten next week and enjoyed their summer vacation which included time at the beach, a VBS at our church, and a week of soccer day camp.
Thank you again for your friendship, prayers and financial support which allows us to follow our calling! We appreciate you and love to hear from you!
Your friends,
Glen, Dana, Ben, Nathan and Laura |
