Dear friends,
Greetings from Brussels. We are happy to share with you the exciting events in our lives and ministry in the past few months. Thank you for taking a moment to "catch up" with us! Thank you for your friendship, prayers and support which allows us to continue to follow God's call on our lives. |
 | Laura Elizabeth |
We celebrated New Year's Day by spending all day in the hospital awaiting our daughter's arrival. A couple weeks earlier than planned, Laura Elizabeth was born at 7:10PM on January 1. She weighed 6 lbs. 11oz. and was 19 inches long. It has been an incredible few months as we have watched her grow and discovered her personality. We have also already enjoyed visits by both of her grandmothers! Nathan and Ben are very proud brothers and we are all adjusting to being a family of five! I must also say that we are all pretty excited she is already sleeping through the night most of the time! |
 | Spring Choir Tour in France |
A highlight of each year is our Spring ministry tour with the CTS Singers. This year's group included 14 students who came from Belgium, France, Germany, Finland, Reunion Island and the U.S.A. Our group returned to southern France again this year doing 10 concerts in 11 days in early April. We were hosted by churches in Carpentras, Avignon and La Seyne sur Mer - doing multi-day evangelistic outreaches and worship ministry. We would often spend the afternoons distributing invitations in the town center and then return to the church for the concert in the evening. We were also able to work with Centre Betel, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center and local church pastored by Jose Ramone in Marseille. We spent several days there and were able to get a glimpse of the transformation of lives that God is doing through that ministry.

 | Ministry of Maintenance? |

CTS is blessed with a beautiful campus. However our Chateau building (which houses the library, girls dorms, administration and faculty offices, and the cafeteria) is over 200 years old. One of the continuing challenges is keeping our campus maintained. We were blessed this year by the visit of several work teams who helped with needed repairs and renovations. A ladies group from the state of Maryland came for 2 weeks and repainted and renovated our administration offices and bookstore. One team of retirees from Finland came for three weeks and completed several major campus projects involving major electrical and plumbing repairs and improvements. CTS cannot afford to hire these renovations because of the high cost of skilled labor in Belgium These churches have greatly blessed our school with their gifts and talents by doing the things that we cannot! There is much more to be done! Would your church like to send a team? We have several urgent projects available. Please contact me for details. |
