As the tourist season approaches, local visitor services are gearing up. The Comprehensive Guide to Lake City will be available soon; the Chamber is hiring information specialists; and the spring weather brings out the brooms, the mops & buckets, and it's clean-up, spruce-up time.
DIRT, the Chamber, and other organizations sponsor economic-stimulus activities, such as the San Juan Solstice 50, the Fourth of July celebration, bingo, and history month. These events bring additional folks to town, as well as providing activities for our part-time and year-round residents. There are ways that your business may benefit from some of these events - consider hosting a sidewalk sale in conjunction with the Town Wide Yard Sale or offering a unique menu item for racers or families or a historical dish during August. Explore advertising options in conjunction with these events. And let us know how we can help you in your efforts.
Cheers to the spring (and hopefully no more snow)!
Respectfully,
Kristie Borchers Lake City DIRT
