The duties of Third Street Gardener include planting, weeding, and watering. In addition to oversight of the Triple M Garden, these girls have worked with Russ Brown to help all the plots look fantastic this year. |

DIRT News
The 2008 Third Street Boardwalk Project is now complete. Dedicated volunteers built an additional 185 feet of boardwalk from the Silver Spur to the alley and along the north side of the Miners and Merchants Bank. Another 75 feet of a trail mix walkway was built from the bank to the armory.

Lake City Community Youth Corps - thanks to the overwhelming community support, we are running a crew of 15 local youth participants and three adults. Look for the red and blue shirts working around town!

Courthouse and Bank Ornaments - The 2007 Commemorative Ornament features the Miners and Merchants Bank. Purchase one for $20. The 2008 Commemorative Ornament features the Hinsdale County Courthouse ($20). You can pre-order the Courthouse or purchase the set of two. A limited quantity of each is available.
