Volunteer Spotlight

This month's spotlight shines brightly on ALL the volunteers of Lake City - who came together on May 1st for a spectacular celebration of volunteerism and community spirit.  Twenty-five organizations presented special awards to volunteers.  Nearly 280 plates of food were served.

Invitations were sent to more than 365 households (are there that many in Lake City?).  It was both humbling and inspiring to listen to the long list of tasks accomplished by volunteers in our community.

Thank you, volunteers.
