UB PARTNERS WITH JOHNS HOPKINS | | |
The UB School of Law and The Johns Hopkins University
School of Medicine will jointly launch what is believed to be the nation's first academic center for medicine and law that focuses on the health care provider.
The center, expected to open in July, will foster a meaningful collaboration between the two professions, so that doctors will better understand the legal issues that affect their daily practice while lawyers will gain a greater appreciation for the real-world issues involved in the practice of medicine. TRANSFER ADMISSIONS: CALL FOR ALUMNI VOLUNTEERS

In partnership with the Office of Transfer Admissions, we are looking for alumni to help recruit prospective transfer students during the 2011 Transfer Information Sessions. During each session, prospective students will attend breakout sessions on topics like financial aid, the admissions process, etc., and they will also have the opportunity to have an informal dialogue with alumni who graduated in their field(s) of interest.
We are asking for alumni volunteers to be a part of this recruitment effort for about an hour and a half on the following days:
Wednesday, Mar. 9, 2011: 6:30 p.m.
Friday, April 29, 2011: 10 a.m.
Friday, June 3, 2011: 10 a.m.
