Democracy Reading Seminar
DemocracyAPRIL 16 -- Join us for a reading seminar featuring books that lead us to re-examine the meaning of American democracy. Participants will enjoy four evening gatherings from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for a light supper and conversation with colleagues. Nancy George - What dangers lurk online for our children? Nancy will cover the Internet Safety concepts of Online Community, Cyber Security, Cyber Bullying and Cyber Predators.
Wes Jansson - A Basic Life Support course to train you in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), automated external defibrillator (AED), choking relief, and basic first aid emergencies. Wes will work to accommodate your needs within the stated course completion requirements. You can also gain CPR certification from the American Heart Association.>>more
2008-09 Boeing Educator Scholarship Applications Now Available
challengerAPRIL 18 -- Teachers looking for financial assistance to participate in a program at the Challenger Learning Center can apply for funds to offset a portion of the program fees. The Boeing Educator Scholarship Fund is made possible by Boeing and provides assistance to teachers for participation in a Challenger Learning Center program.
