UI students, alumni receive Fulbright grants

These prestigious grants provide support for research, study, and projects that promote international sharing and understanding. Building more than bridges in Nicaragua

Through his Stanley Undergraduate Award for International Research,  Ethan Gingerich spent six weeks in Jucuapa Occidental, Nicaragua, with Bridges to Prosperity. Somewhere between learning to cook tortillas, communicating in Spanish and smiles, and climbing a ladder with five pounds of cement, Ethan found time to build his bridge.  Read more.
