UI student named Rhodes scholar
UI senior Renugan Raidoo was recently named a 2011 Rhodes Scholar - one of only 32 awardees in the nation and the first Rhodes Scholar at the UI since 1993. He is studying chemistry and anthropology at the UI - two fields that he says are "seemingly disparate, and at their most fundamental choose to look at the world in different ways."
