Bass Lake Triathlon Is Back

Bass Lake Triathalon

The Bass Lake Triathlon, an event that drew hundreds of top competitors during its heyday and has been dormant since its last was held in 1998 has been resurrected. In 1983 and 1984, at the dawn of the sport of triathlon, the Bass Lake Triathlon hosted the first ever USA Triathlon National Championships. The list of participants read like a Who's Who of the fledgling sport back then.

"Bensusan's remarkable technical ability has never been in question, but it's the sheer musicality and lyricism of his body of work that has cemented his position as one of the most accomplished acoustic guitarists on the planet. Altiplanos, with its combination of solo, multitracked and ensemble pieces, simply reaffirms and builds upon Bensusan's already stellar reputation." -- John Kelman, Allaboutjazz.com (USA)
