Annual Mailing of Business & Agricultural Property Statements for Property Tax Purposes

Tom Kidwell, Madera County Assessor, has announced that his office will be mailing over 10,000 property statements to Business Property owners and Agricultural Property owners in Madera County. Additionally, they are also sending property statements to Madera County Airplane and Vessel owners.

Any business owner who does not receive their 2011 property statements by the end of January should contact the Assessor's Office at (559) 675-7710.

Madera County EDC To Host Assembly Member For An "Eggs and Issues"

The Madera County Economic Development Commission will be hosting an "Eggs and Issues" breakfast on February 4, 2011 featuring Assembly Member Linda Halderman at the Madera Community Hospital in the Shebelut/Pierini Room. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 and the Assembly Member Halderman will speak shortly after that time. This event will provide a format for local business and community leaders to get an update on State issues and will present an opportunity to ask the Assembly Member questions.
