Oakhurst Area Chamber EDC Luncheon

Our new Assembly person, Kristin Olsen, will speak at the first Oakhurst Area Chamber Economic Development luncheon on December 15th at Sierra Sky Ranch.
Kristen reports to Sacramento January and as we all know she has her work cut out for her. Kristen will share with us her major concerns for our district, what we can do to help, and her goals and tactics for taking on Sacramento on our behalf.
Seating is limited, so please make your reservation as soon as possible for the EDC luncheon with keynote Speaker, Kristin Olsen, on Wednesday December 15th, 2010, from 11:30 - 1:00 at Sierra Sky Ranch. Lunch is $20.00 per person.

The Deadline for Filing Decline in Value Review Requests and for Filing Assessment Appeals is November 30th
Tom Kidwell, Madera County Assessor, has announced that his office has reduced assessed values by over $1.8 billion for property tax purposes under Proposition 8 (Revenue and Taxation Code section 51) since the 2008 assessment year. Values in Madera County have been reduced from $11,959,531,657 for the 2008 assessment year to $10,142,506,926 for the 2010 assessment year, principally for those property owners who either acquired their property or added improvements to their property between the years 2000 and 2010.
