Boys & Girls Club of Oakhurst - "It Just Takes One" Campaign
Boys & Girls Club of Oakhurst kicked off its annual "It Just Takes One" campaign with a wine and cheese reception hosted by River Creek Golf Course on October 13th. The campaign will raise funds for the Club's after-school programs and services for youth, ages 6-18. Scheduled to run through November 11th, the campaign seeks donations primarily from individuals.
Each Board Member has formed a campaign team and the teams will compete to see who can raise the most funds, or obtain the most recurring pledges, during the four week drive. Each team has a 5 foot thermometer that will be displayed at various locations during the campaign and colored in as funds are raised. A cumulative thermometer will be created and posted on the exterior of Central Valley Community Bank facing Hwy 41.
