I just want to acknowledge the passing of Anne Forseth.
She volunteered for many years at the Oakhurst Branch Library and was married to Rod Forseth of the Oakhurst  H & R Block.
Anne and Rod have many friends and associates in the area. A memorial service at the Library is being planned.

The Lions have faithfully served in our mountain community for almost 50 years. In fact,  we celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2010! Lions are your neighbors and colleagues throughout the community and you have probably known them your whole life but may not have known they were Lions.

The report describes the results of a visitor study at Yosemite National Park during February 2-10, 2008. A total of 938 questionnaires were distributed to visitor groups. Of those, 563 questionnaires were returned, resulting in a 60% response rate. The study is very detailed and informative. There is much we can learn about our winter visitor.  More>>>

When arts, culture & heritage tourism development is done right, it helps to protect natural and cultural treasures and improves the quality of life for residents and visitors alike.

Attendees will participate in a collaborative process designed to stimulate the creation of an action plan for Cultural & Heritage Tourism in our communities.
