Greetings!
A message from the President
The holiday season is a time for reflection. I am truly grateful for my friends, family, customers and employees who have helped make Lawn Dawg a successful company. The drought in 2010 presented many challenges that we have converted to opportunities for 2011. For example, we will commit to sending more lawn alerts and being more proactive in managing the health of your lawn, trees and shrubs regardless of weather conditions. We will also continue to offer exclusive discounts to our Newsletter recipients.
In this issue you will read about a new and dynamic addition to our Lawn Dawg team - please join me in welcoming Angela and wishing her success as our Albany Branch Manager. You will also find an exclusive discount on our lawn safe ice melt, an opportunity to order gift certificates for last minute holiday shopping and details about our donation to GreenCare for Troops.

Newest Member of Lawn Dawg -Angela Bradley
Angela Bradley will be joining Lawn Dawg on January 1, 2011, as the Branch Manger in our second largest location - Albany, NY. Angela is making the move from Detriot, MI, and bringing with her 21 years of experience in the lawn care industry. She is no stranger to the ins and outs of lawn care operations and what it takes to oversee a large branch. 
Here's some more information to help you get to know our newest Branch Manager:
Where were you born?
Greenboro, North Carolina
Where did you go to school?
Dudley High School / Michigan State, Turf Management
Are you Single, Married and/or do you have any children?
Single; no kids (I have 2 dogs that I pamper like they were kids)
Can you tell us a little bit about yourself, what are some of your hobbies or interests?
I am very family oriented; I love spending time with my nieces and nephew, along with Sammy and Cody (my 2 dogs); and BBQ's with friends. Any spare time is spent trying to prefect my golf game (which hasn't went so well). I love all sporting events.
How did you come about your career in the Green Industry?
I (started my career working with a local landscaper in 1985; then Tru Green after graduation. Moved to Michigan at the age 19 and continued to work with Tru Green before I accepted a position with a independent company that hired me to open new locations in Michigan, Chicago, Columbus, OH, and Colorado.
What do you look most forward about your transition to Albany?
Starting a new chapter of my life with a company of such great quality, bringing my experience to an organization such as Lawn Dawg, along with learning from the team already established. |

GreenCare for Troops
 This past Veteran's Day, November 11, 2010, Lawn Dawg signed up all seven branch locations to particpate in the GreenCare for Troops program. GreenCare for Troops is a nationwide outreach program initiated by Project EverGreen that connects participating local lawn and landscape firms with families of the men and women away from home to service our country in the armed forces.
"Lawn and landscape maintenance becomes a definite hardship when a family's major breadwinner is on active duty away from home. The GreenCare for Troops program seeks to ease this stress by helping affected families with the important task of caring for their yard and landscape. We have committed to providing our basic EarthCare Lawn Program for up to 20 participating families. Our services to these families will be free of charge during deployment," Jim Campanella, President of Lawn Dawg.

| Winners of our snow blower / lawn mower give-a-way!
Congratulations to Lawrence and Barbara Allard, our first winner for the snow blower/lawn mower give-a-way. Our first drawing took place on Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Pictured below is Ron Connor, Litchfield NH Branch Manager, with the Allard's delivering their brand new snow blower!
 We'd also like to congratulate John Davey, the second winner our give-a-way. The second drawing took place Wednesday, December 15th, and Mr. Davey has choosen the lawn mower. Pictures to come.
