We streamed the opening service of the 41st Annual Diocesan Convention this evening from Christ Church Cathedral in Mobile, Alabama and UStream worked GREAT. It stayed solidly UP from 3 pm until I turned it off after the opening service ended.... around 8:15 pm.  We had several viewers and for that we are grateful!!

We will be broadcasting the convention Friday morning CSPAN style (just one fixed forever shot by a non-attended camera...don't get too excited). Morning Prayer is at 8:30, so we hope to have it up before then.  

Not sure what to watch? Find the schedule of events HERE.  Like I said, don't get so excited. 

OH OH... I almost forgot. The iPhone DOES pick up the stream. In my earlier announcement, I mentioned that the iPhone doesn't work with UStream, but I apparently pulled old information from UStream's website.... I have an iPhone and during the peace decided I would try it and LO AND BEHOLD it started playing.  So YAY for iPhone owners.
