Watch the convention from your computer!  

We will be streaming the opening service of the 41st Annual Diocesan Convention, Thursday evening, February 2, 2012, at 6:00 pm.  The webcam will be live at approximately 5:30 pm so you can watch the pews fill with delegates and guests.  The service will begin at 6:00 pm.

Assuming we have no roadblocks or internet problems or what have you, we will keep the webcam up throughout the day on Friday and again on Saturday. It may be even more boring than CSPAN, but it will give you an idea of what takes place at convention each year!

We tested it today on an iPAD and an ANDROID phone. If your mobile device has flash capabilities, it should work for you.  (iPhone, unfortunately, does not).  The iPAD took a little bit of time to optimize for the web, but we reloaded after a minute or so and the broadcast appeared on the screen. (It was great...the Cathedral organist was practicing for tomorrow night's service..it was a real treat.) 

Hurray for technology in the church!

I'm crossing my fingers and saying a little prayer that it works!
