Church of the Advent presents BBQ & Blues Saturday, October 22, 2011
9 am - 3 pm Arts & Crafts, BBQ, and Big Band Jazz will all be in one place tomorrow at Church of the Advent's Annual BBQ & Blues Event taking plae from 9 am - 3 pm. You'll find plants from Shay's Nursery and the Lillian Library; beautiful crafts by woodworkers Pete Schnatz, John Blackie, Don Kempter; artisan jewelry by jewelry makers including Patricia Lennox; homemade jellies of all kinds from Mary Driskell; books from Fred Garth; handmade soaps, fine oils, cosmetics. 12099 Co Rd 99.
Silent auction items include many of our old favorites from past years, with some new and very exciting possibilities. A "dock hop" will feature a progressive dinner via boat on Soldier Creek. Lovely vacation homes on the gulf and the bay are available for a house party for you and your extended family, old friends, or college suite-mates - or just for a quiet getaway. Antiques, collectables, house wares, art, and athletic equipment are just some of the items you'll find. Several gift certificates from local area restaurants and businesses will be available for your bid along with massages from the Natural Health Center and Marcia Noller. In addition, a gym membership at Dr. Michael Land's, meals at Tambo's, Pirate's Cove, The Gift Horse, and the Lillian Café are just waiting for your bid at the silent auction. Don't miss it!
