My brothers and sisters in Christ,
I met this week with the Commission on the Environment and the Integrity of Creation and together we gathered links and liturgy for your use during this time of crisis in the Gulf of Mexico. You will find all of these resources on a new webpage, created by Communications Director, Cindy McCrory. The page
will be continually updated as news information is received.
The Rev. Albert Kennington has prepared a Litany for the Gulf of Mexico in the time of crisis. This document is available as a bulletin insert.

I invite you, also, to use prayers from the Book of Common Prayer, also listed on the resource webpage.
I encourage all clergy to use the information provided for the prayers of the people as we move through the oil spill crisis. Pray for our brothers and sisters in the Diocese of Texas, West Louisiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.
 Pray for those, also, affected by the storms that moved through upper Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee and Kentucky this past week.
