Fall Fashion Week in NYC just ended and we're happy to report that feminine looks and age-appropriate clothing dominated on the runway. "Don't Tell Me, I Don't Want to Know"
Sloan Crosley

Do you long for the days when you had to hear it from the grapevine? When the most intimate details of others were kept private and only revealed to their innermost circle of  friends? Nowadays, virtually anyone can gain access to the minutia, as well as the in-your-face, over-the-top information and the picture isn't a pretty one. On the contrary, many find it leads to major insecurities, hurt feelings and the fear of missing out.  Read more.

Greetings!

We may be two months in to 2012, but we still feel we have yet to make a dent in the New Year and our work is certainly cut out for us! Just read the local newspaper, flip through an entertainment magazine, or turn on a cable television station and you'll be hard-pressed to find the kernels of quality material among the littered landscape of the salacious and gratuitous.  After all, narcissistic and unruly behavior is what sells.

Although it may appear we are fighting an uphill battle, it does not deter us, it only makes us stronger. As we move forward, we are determined to implement a new manners manifesto, one that truly drives home the message of why we're here and what we're trying to do.

In a nutshell, we want to break down the barriers, destroy the preconceived notions and awaken audiences, both young and old, that there is a new meaning for manners. It is inclusive, approachable and all-encompassing. It melds the traditional with the modern day and it touches virtually every aspect of our lives.

If you've been on the fence wondering whether to enroll in a class or inquire about a private, now is the time. We have a variety of adult and children's programs to choose from.  You can also reach out to us online. We do our best to dispense relevant tips and info through our AppblogFacebook and Twitter.  Whichever form suits your preference, we look forward to hearing from you!

As always,
