"How Well-Behaved Are Your Kids?"
Yahoo Shine

We were thrilled to be chosen as the editor's pick for Yahoo! Shine's 'This Week in Mom' earlier this month. The subject matter, "How well-behaved are your kids?" Before conducting an interview on the subject, they shot footage of our popular children's class at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Watch the video here

"Parent's Day"

 Parent's Day2

Popular online parenting website HybridMom asked us to contribute a piece on Parent's Day. Celebrated annually on the 4th Sunday of July, the day recognizes parental figures and honors them for the significant and supportive role they play in their children's lives. This special day of observance pays tribute to all parents whether biological, foster or step, single or married, traditional or non-traditional. Read the complete article here.

"The Good Marriage"
Weddzilla
Recently we learned of yet another celebrity couple whose marriage bit the dust.  Yes, unfortunately, Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony decided to call it quits.  Did this come as a surprise to us?  Not really.  Celebrity marriages are notorious for being the most difficult to maintain because both parties are in the spotlight constantly and the press is relentless scrutinizing their every move.  For the rest of us common folk, marriage is definitely more private, certainly more normal and perhaps slightly more exhausting. Greetings!

"The hardest job kid's face today is learning good manners without seeing any." Could this quote uttered by Fred Astaire, way back when, be any more apropos to today's children?  Had he possibly known the scandalous headlines that would cover our newspapers, the horrific court cases that would take over our media airwaves or the countless politicians, athletes and celebrities who would fall from grace?  If Mr. Astaire thought things were tough for kids back then, he would have had a real rude awakening living in the present day. Modern day children have their work cut out for them and parents have an even greater mountain to climb.

For this very reason, we are committed to providing resources that will promote positive role models and reintegrate manners and common courtesies back into our everyday environment.

In doing our part, we are pleased to offer our "YOUNG AMBASSADOR'S ETIQUETTE" program at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Saturday, August 13th and our "LET'S DANCE!" COTILLION series for children in the 3rd thru 7th grades at the Beverly Hills Women's Club beginning in September and ending in March.  Both programs are excellent choices for building self-esteem, increasing confidence and enhancing social skills, all of which lead to healthy character development.

This month, in honor of Parent's Day, we were featured in YAHOO! SHINE and HYBRID MOM sharing our tips for good parenting and role modeling. And, as if being a good role model to your children isn't enough, we have our contribution to Weddzilla for tips on marital etiquette and "The Good Marriage."  A little something hopefully for everyone!

Hope you enjoy!!

My best,
