Greetings!,
We are delighted to announce that Jani and P'taah will be doing a two-day workshop in Oak Beach, Queensland, Australia on October 3-4. It should be a powerful couple of days in an extraordinary setting. If you're interested, contact the organizer Barbara Malarski at the number in the flyer below.
Our message this month from P'taah is a topic near and dear to our heart -- money and abundance. In today's tough economic times, it's good to be reminded again and again that, no matter what the outward appearances, we each are powerful, sovereign, abundant gods and goddesses playing this game called Life.
With much love,

For locals, how wondrous to have Jani and P'taah doing this event so close to home. If you live somewhere else but have been thinking about Australia, October is the perfect time for a visit. The weather is generally mild and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous.

Thanks for Your Great 'Mini-Sessions' Suggestions
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Last month we asked you to suggest a new name for our very popular 'Mini-sessions.' We were so pleased with the many wonderful, creative suggestions that you sent in.
We've narrowed the choices down to just a few. In a day or so we should have a poll up on the website so you can tell us which one you like best.
As soon as we have a winning name, we'll announce it in the newsletter.
P'taah's Message for September 2009
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Q1: P'taah, I am interested in this idea of money. I know that you've spoken so much about abundance and the concept of lack that we have. Nevertheless, it's part of my society, my world, my judgment, that I actually need money.
P'taah: It is and you know, beloved, the whole thing about this is, money is very wondrous to be sure and much of the life of the humanities is spent in amassing money.
That is all very well except for the idea that you may only have freedom and sovereignty by amassing huge amounts of money. And all of this is the fear-based terror of being powerless. Really, we would say, the terror of being powerless. That is your power brokers. The people who are masters, not for the money, but rather for the power that keeps them over other people and over other countries, over the world.
So it is this that is so destructive, not the fact that you desire to have money to live comfortably and to have the freedom to choose to do things which cost money. Not this at all.
Q1: You see, this is where I have a problem figuring it out. It's at a kind of personal level of feeling. Yes, you do need it because if you can't pay your bills, then you are struggling.
P'taah: Indeed. However, again, it is about attitude. You see?
Where it is that you really understand that in your personal power, you can create a life where the money flows to you as an exchange for that which is a joyous, or interesting, or fascinating activity. An energy exchange. What you put in is what you get out and to be in the joy of what it is that you create as an exchange for the money.
For instance, you turn on the light and you are very happy in the darkness of the night that you have your abode lightened, lit up. You go to your store and you buy your food and you are very happy to exchange your money for this beautiful food or beautiful piece of clothing. So, you see, it is interesting to look at the different emotions attached to the idea of bringing the money in and the joy about putting it out.
Q2: I love putting it out! I realized last week how much I love circulating money.
P'taah: Indeed. So you see, when you can really get the idea that it is circular. What is that saying that you have? "It is made round to go round". So when you can really see how it is an energetic flow. It comes in and it goes out, and it comes in and it goes out. That is why we say in the Morning Song, "Thank you for the river of money which flows to me and through me." It comes in and it goes out and creates much joy.
You have your electricity which you pay for. You have your cooking fuel which you pay for, however that is. You have your food which you pay for that you love. You have your opportunities to travel, to vacation. You understand? All of these beautiful things that you exchange money for. And then you put your energy out to bring the money in. When you can understand that it is simply that, an energetic flow and that you will create it as you will allow it to be created, in the most extraordinary way, really, then you need not doubt that it will be enough.
Q1: It gets short-circuited by the fear, doesn't it?
P'taah: It exactly does.
Q1: That you won't be able to earn it or you won't be able to earn enough.
Q2: And you don't have to earn it is what's true.
P'taah: Absolutely. You don't have to earn.
Q2: All you need to know is it's. . .
P'taah: It's available.
Q2: I say this like I know it. I do know it, then I forget it. I know it, then I forget it again, but I do see the lesson.
P'taah: It can come to you in the most astounding ways, but always it does come, in a way, as a result of a thought and a feeling.
Q2: Hmmm.
P'taah: And where the thoughts and the feeling is engaged in the idea that you work for your money, and that is the mass consciousness of your society, then that is how it works. And that is how it works very well for millions of people. There are more and more people discovering that there are ways to create the flow other than this idea of what is called 'going to work'.
Q1: Going to work doesn't appeal to me very much.
P'taah: Indeed, because you are also understanding that you may create it in other ways.
Q2: It's interesting. I've been doing some painting and have a couple of works in a co-op gallery. I like them. I mean I really like my work, but so far no one has come in who likes it enough to buy it. I do know in my heart that it's an energetic thing. That the right person is there and will come in as soon as I'm ready to let them go.
P'taah: Indeed, because there is still much of a holding on to it, indeed because you love it.
Q2: Oh! I haven't thought about that.
P'taah: It is the fruit of your creative juices, beloved.
Q2: Yes, and it is sort of the last fruit of my creative juice because I've stopped painting for a while. Once I am back in it and creating, again in that circular flow, I'll have new work coming in so it can be time for the older work to go out.
P'taah: Indeed. Where you do not have to hold on to anything, you are creating a space for more to come.
Q2: Wow! I hadn't thought about it that way.
Q1: I think I still exist in the fear that it won't come here. (Laughter) I know where it is coming from, and I understand the reasoning but I know that I still put that out.
P'taah: Well, that is all right, beloved. What is important only is that you would continue to really give thanks for the magnificence of your wealth.
Q1: Indeed.
Q2: Ah, so it is that simple. It's just remembering to give thanks for what you have got.
P'taah: It is that simple.
Q2: You know, P'taah, we don't want it to be simple. It's like every time we talk, I keep hoping that this time you will give us some little trick that will be really easy and we won't have to mess with these issues anymore.
P'taah: You know, beloved, that is really the thing. It is so simple and you are all so addicted to your dramas. Some of you, you know, we have noticed with great amusement, will become almost guilty that life is a breeze, so to speak.
(Laughter)
P'taah: Without any emotional dramas, without any financial dramas, without any fiscal business dramas, we would say that you feel kind of guilty because everybody else is so involved and here you are in your boring life. That you have everything really, hmm!
So, my beloved ones, sufficient unto the time for this day. Lots to think about, hmmm! So until our next Now together, with grandest love, we issue forth,
Namaste.
P'taah
