Greetings!,
If you've wondered why the Weekly Quote on the website has been more of a 'quarterly quote,' it simply fell off my to-do list. It has now been reinstated.
Debbie Purdy's recent court victory in England makes today's message from P'taah extremely timely. We think you'll find his comments of interest.
Lastly, be sure to read about re-naming the mini-sessions. And the person who submits the name we choose will win a free 'mini-session' with P'taah. That should start your creative juices flowing!
With much love,

'Mini-Sessions' Need a New Name
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 A couple of people have told us that the name 'mini-sessions' makes them sound 'less than' other kinds of sessions. They've got a valid point so we are looking for a new name that better conveys the power of these sessions.
People who've done a call really like this format. It's like being in a small workshop where you're guaranteed the chance to ask P'taah 2 or 3 questions. In addition you get the value of hearing everyone else's questions and P'taah's answers.
As a little incentive, the person who submits the name we end up using will win a free 'mini-session.' So put on your creative thinking cap and send us your ideas through the Contact Us form.
Thank you!
Upcoming 'Mini-Sessions'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  A mini-session, by any name, is an excellent way to interact with P'taah. We have two upcoming sessions -- one on Friday, August 7 and the other on Monday, August 10. Both will be at 8:00 a.m. Queensland time. You can find your local time here.
You also can book a longer personal session. Those can last up to an hour. Jani is generally available for personal sessions weekday mornings.
Being in the presence of a being like P'taah, who
profoundly understands and never judges
us, is a great gift to give yourself. Plus you'll be surrounded by P'taah's powerful unconditional love, which comes through loud and clear, even on the phone.
To arrange for either a mini-session or a personal session, call us at 1-760-366-0375 or use the Contact Us form. Mini-sessions are $35 and personal sessions are $150. Once the session has been booked, either can be paid for online.

July 2009 Conversation with P'taah Burning Questions 7
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We had another dynamite Burning Questions session last week and managed to get through most of the recent submissions.
As you can see from the track list, we covered a wide-ranging array of topics. Because not everything fits neatly into topics, consider this list just our attempt to give you an idea of what we talked about.
T1-What Paranormal Experiences Mean T2-Fulfilling Our Life Path T3-Cheeky Question T4-Death & Grief, Despair & Fear of Where World Is Heading T5-Do Fairies & Angels Exist / Shielding Ourselves / Planet X T6-Insomnia / Health Issues / Who Are We Thanking? / Answers Within
To order either the CD or MP3 file of this session, visit our website.
People who wonder if there's any 'new' P'taah material would do well to check out Conversations. The quality is excellent and it's such a joy to be in P'taah's energy.
Burning Questions Clarification
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When people want to know why we haven't used their question for P'taah, there are a couple of answers.
First, since these questions are used as topics for P'taah to cover in Conversations, we only use questions of general interest. That excludes things like, 'Was I Napoleon in my last life?' but not necessarily, 'How can I contact Aunt Sally who died last year?' which P'taah actually did talk about recently.
Secondly, it may be a topic that P'taah has already spoken on recently. We don't exclude those questions, but they may be put aside for a later date.
That said, if you have a burning question of general interest that you would like to submit, please do so. Anyone whose question is used will be sent a free MP3 file of that Conversation.

August Special!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  Because we believe so strongly that Conversations with P'taah is a great tool and want everybody to be able to subscribe, we're extending the 10% savings on any subscription for another month.
In addition, we're offering a 10% discount on the current session, both as a CD and an MP3 file. That same 10% discount also applies to all sessions older than a year.
Thank you again for your generous support!
Thanks to Our Wonderful Translators
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You may have noticed that we now have the P'taah Transcripts on the P'taah website in both Dutch and German. Since our Dutch is non-existent and we haven't brushed up on our German in many a year, we're extremely grateful to our two translators.
Our thanks to Sonja Göschel Hunziker for the German translations that have been up for a while and to Ellen du Burck and Tessa Koop for the Dutch, which we have just uploaded! We know they will be of great value to our many friends who speak Dutch and German !

P'taah's Message for August 2009
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Q1: P'taah, I would like to hear your thoughts on some of the issues for which we imprison people. For instance, euthanasia. Are our own fears surrounding it and our taboos really based on something we need to be defended from?
For instance, what if we have somebody, an elderly or very ill person, who wishes to die and they ask you to help them because they can't do it themselves? We are very torn as a society about what to do. I mean at this time, certainly in America and in England, it is against the law and you would be imprisoned. Would you make a comment on that?
P'taah: Our comment really is simply that very soon your governments will be forced to look again at their laws which more and more take responsibility from the individual.
Now we have said to you there is no judgment really about suicide. From our point of view, most suicides really are rather silly. However, we do say that where one, no matter how aged or not aged, is suffering from a terminal illness which they cannot change -- and we say 'cannot' only in the idea that they do not know how or have not the reserves to be able to transform the physicality -- then indeed we perceive that it is the absolute choice of that one to say, "I am ready to go now." But each person must indeed confront their own demons about this.
Q1: And what about me, if I'm the person being asked to help? I mean, in our society, we would think it the humane thing to do if our animal is very sick and cannot transform that. Indeed it is an accepted thing that I would take it to the vet and the vet would give it a drug to 'put it to sleep'.
P'taah: Indeed.
Q1: And you know it's often said that you shouldn't leave somebody you love to go through that agony. You can put your dog to sleep but you have to stand-by and watch this person you love even while they are begging you to do it.
P'taah: Very silly, is it not?
Q1: Well, it's a difficult dichotomy.
P'taah: And we would say that the more people who stand firm to say, "This is my desire," and to, in a way, be as lawful as possible whilst breaking the law. That is, to make sure that there can be no issue around the idea of murder, rather to assist somebody to do that which they cannot do themselves.
Q1: Yes, I think this is the problem. When one makes the law, one has to take into account that it can be misused.
P'taah: But you know, beloved, everything can be misused and you all create your own reality. You understand? To make a law where millions of people will suffer because one or two may break this law is not in the highest concerns of your society because those who will break the law will do so one way or another anyway, but to look at the bigger picture of this.
And we are not saying that one or two murders are of no concern. Of course they are. We attempt always to look rather at a grander idea for you insofar as each must do what they perceive as their highest action coming from love and compassion.
The more of you that do this and hold firm, who stand-up in a way and be counted, and this is a very, what we would say, quite a frightening thing for many but each to do what you can.
As we say all of this in most seriousness, we also ask you to look at a lighter side which reminds you that this is all a game; that this is only one lifetime. You understand? That you are really eternal beings playing this game, doing the best that you can. That there is no judgment how you play this game, how you are in this game, only that always there is an opportunity to be the more. Does that make sense?
Q1: Yes, it's just that when we're faced with everyone else's judgment, so in a way, one has made the judgment. I mean, it would seem everybody else takes it very seriously so it's hard.
P'taah: I know, beloved.
Q1: Yes.
P'taah: And in situations called 'life and death' and the drama of it, it is very difficult, in a way, to stay centered in the knowing of the greater truth. And also, to make a choice or a decision that goes against the law or goes against the ideas of society. You know that this requires a huge amount of courage.
There is no judgment about not to take a stand either. To say, "Well this is the law of the country and so we shall obey it."
Q1: I am interested to hear you say that you think that we are coming to a time of change in the way we make our laws because it would seem that we have in this generation got more freedom than we've ever have and yet at the same time, Big Brother', as we term it, seems to be getter bigger and controlling more and more of our lives.
P'taah: Indeed. There are more and more laws being made to impinge upon your individual sovereignty. And there will become more so.
Q2: Yeah. I was sent a quote that actually comes from Julius Caesar. Basically he said that if you can make the people fearful enough, you don't have to take their power from them. They will offer it willingly because they are so frightened.
P'taah: Indeed.
Q2: That seems to be very much where we are, at least in the U.S. and I am sure in many countries. Certainly U.S. citizens are very much in that place.
P'taah: It is so. However, also we would suggest that you look at other great societies, and we say great in numbers, numerically, that have had very repressive societies and terror and millions of people murdered. How indeed the people have become so afraid that they beg somebody else to make the choices and decisions.
Q2: Yes, we've got it easy compared to the rest of the world.
P'taah: In a way you have, however it is still that your governments, and not only in America, are tying up the minds, and indeed the lives, of people with their rather silly little laws. But you know, beloved, it is still about taking responsibility, is it not?
Q2: Yes, it is.
P'taah: And where you are prepared to take responsibility for your own actions and for what you create in your life, then it is not necessary to make these silly little laws.
Q2: Yes, that's true. That's absolutely true. However, when you've got an entire nation of people out there who aren't there yet, there is a great opportunity to do all kinds of silly things.
P'taah: Indeed, it is so.
So my dear ones, sufficient unto the time for this Now. Thank you for this opportunity to again share that which, really, you already know.
We love you all grandly and issue forth,
Namaste.
P'taah
