June 2009 Conversation with P'taah Frank & Alan's Mini-Session
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This month's Conversation with P'taah started out as a mini-session for Frank and Alan. It ended up being so interesting that we asked if they'd allow us to use it as this month's Conversation. With no hesitation they agreed.
Their conversation covered a wide range of topics. This track list is just an attempt to give you an idea of what we talked about.
T1-Law of Attraction T2-Aspects of Self T3-Making Peace with the Past T4-Tantra Yoga & Sexual Energy T5-Transmuting Toxins T6-Care of Self / Selfishness
To order either the CD or MP3 file of this session, visit our website.
People who wonder if there's any 'new' P'taah material would do well to check out Conversations. The quality is excellent and it's such a joy to be in P'taah's energy.
Being in the presence of a being like P'taah who
profoundly understands and never judges
us is a great gift to give yourself. Plus you'll be surrounded by P'taah's powerful unconditional love, which comes through loud and clear, even on the phone.
P'taah's Message for July 2009
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ P'taah: Today we should like to begin by looking at that which is your life, that which are facets of your life which you would desire to change somewhat. And to look at this idea of change being not a change for what is on the exterior or that which is your exterior life's experience, but rather to look at your perception.
To look at that which you would find boring or dull, that which is the routine that you tire of, that which are the jobs or situations that you find unfulfilling. To look at this and ask yourself how may you bring to this situation more of yourself, more attention, more focus, more joy, more of your own being-ness to transform what you have perceived thus far?
We say to you very often, it does not matter what you do. Now of course this does not mean that you should do nothing. Rather it means that whatever you are doing, whatever activity you find yourselves engaged in, you are bringing the resonance that you are to this particular activity.
So where there is no gift that you may perceive in this activity, it is because you are not bringing your whole self to it. We ask you to think how much of your activities you are engaged in day-by-day where you are really either focused on your future or concerned with your past and really not bringing any care and attention to your present Now.
Now is of importance because Now is your choice point, Now is your power place to transform anything. Not in your past, which is just a story. And not in your future which you will create from whatever it is that you are being Now.
You may say that with every breath you take, you are connecting to the universal field. You are, with each breath, bringing that frequency, that energetic frequency in the connectedness, into your own being. And in that breath is your possibility of transformation. Not yesterday, not tomorrow - only with this breath.
So, as you contemplate your life, as you contemplate even that which is your preferred projected future, remind yourself that everything depends on Now, depends on the resonance that you are even as you contemplate your future. Does it make sense to you?
All right. So, as you become more anchored in your Now, as you can allow the stories of past to be simply that, then indeed you may bring to your Nows more joy, more exhilaration, more peace, more harmony, more excitement, or whatever it is that you want in that now.
Your Now only reflects on who and how you are at that moment. Where you are trapped in old stories, have you noticed that you simply keep recreating that old resonance?
Old stories of family are a no-thing. It is a book you once read, and it is your choice to step forth from that, hmm? After all, you know, you create and recreate your own physicality in every moment. Every cell in your body, every atom, every molecule, is in transformation, is constantly shifting and changing.
You will not allow yourself to shift and change because most of the time you contemplate change as chaos, as something to be afraid of. Yet change is your only constant.
To reap the grand joys of change, it is necessary to step out of the old stories. For as long as you are holding on to them, you are in prison. And you come to the middle of your life, then you come to the end of your life and you will look back and you say, "What have I done? Where am I?" And in that way often you look at other people and other people's lives and you say, "How is it they have that life and I have this life which is not so wondrous?"
Our desire for you is that in each moment you will make for yourself a beautiful story so that the moment itself is your history, not what happened yesterday. Do you understand? So that your life is an area of play, is of the most beauteous resonance, full of color, light and shade, laughter, tears, everything, everything.
You are here to experience it all and one experience is not more valid than another. But as you can allow yourselves to unfold, as you can allow yourselves to embrace every facet of who you are, as you can allow yourselves to embrace your old stories and let them be, then indeed this is your opportunity to spend more and more time in that resonance of joy, of allowance, of laughter, of peace and tranquility, of wonderment, of fun, hmm? (Speaks softer and lovingly) After all, that is really what you all want, is it not?
All right, be there query?
Q: P'taah, with regard to this business of the perfect concept of being in the Now as you just painted it for us -- a very wonderful idea; a practical one, too -- what if there are areas of one's being which are so deeply rooted in perhaps an old story or the story of our culture or some other thing that it's simply not practical or realistic to transform it in the moment.
P'taah: You know, beloved, all you are speaking about is your attachment, hmm?
Q: That's it. Yep, attachment.
P'taah: What is more important, your attachment to your past or to create a transformed Now and future?
Q: Well, of course that's what I want now.
P'taah: All right. Well, you see, you only have Now.
Q: All of us do.
P'taah: No, beloved. There are many who say, "Oh, all I want is peace and to be gone from this dreadful past," and yet you hang on to it with such tenacity. You hang on to your past with the tenacity that you hang on to life with -- almost as if you think you will have no life if you let the old stories go.
Q: I can remember 20 or more years ago having the realization of exactly what you've just said. I was standing on the side of the road, traveling across Australia somewhere, looking at my hand in front of me and saying, "Well, it's all here now, you know." And yet the reality of that moment -- perhaps we didn't have the teachings of someone like yourself to reinforce the truth then -- but it seemed very simple, very easy and tempting just to slide back into the stories, the attachments. Do you have a remedy for that?
P'taah: Yes, beloved, and that is called being in the Now. You are not being in the Now when you slide back into the old stories of what he did and she did.
Ask yourself when you find yourself sliding back into that stuff and say, "Is this important in my life right now? What is it that I really desire for me NOW? How does this feel NOW?" Bring it back to your own center point, rather than dwelling and running the scenarios again and again and again. Even you must be bored by that now, beloved, eh?
Q: Of course, of course. It's a very real aspect of everyone's human life.
P'taah: Indeed, indeed. (Pauses) For some more than others, hmm?
Q: Yep. And as we become more aware as well, we are all obliged to accept that this is the reality.
P'taah: It is, beloved, but you see the reality is not cast in stone.
Q: That's the message, yes.
P'taah: Nothing is cast in stone. You know, you even have an idea of dimensional realities cast in stone. Now we have this dimension and then we have that dimension and then we have another dimension.
It does not work like that, either. It is soft, it is permeable -- you are moving in and out of realities, of dimensions. You are grand travelers, whether or not you realize it. You do it in your day dreams, you do it in your night dreams, you do it as you forget yourself for the odd moments.
Q: Thank you.
P'taah: (Very lovingly) Indeed.
So my beloved ones, we love you grandly and with greatest love, issue forth
Namaste.
P'taah
