~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Q1: Can you talk about how action relates to manifestation? In other words, if you put out a desire with no work or effort towards it yourself, can it appear?
P'taah: Well, it may well. You know, in your life, how you have had a fleeting thought about something. "Oh, that would be nice," you say, and give it no more thought and then you manifest it within a day or two.
However, where it is that the desire is for a changement of some kind -- let us say you desire to have a more interesting work -- it is first to be in the positive idea that you would like to have a more joyous or more exciting work, not focusing on what it is that you dislike about the work you do now. That is first and most important. So, in other words, you are not focusing on the negative but really focusing on the positive.
Now, it is also very helpful to take the first step to show the universe that you are serious about this, to take the step to do something positive to show that you are serious. Hmmm?
Q1: Okay. Yeah, you are using your energy and your focus.
P'taah: Correct.
Q1: Another question. If you have four people who are sure they are going to win a race and they all understand the concepts of manifestation and one runner appears to have a much stronger emotional desire and belief in winning and yet doesn't win, what is going on there?
P'taah: Well, you see again, it is about the perfection of all things. You understand? It is not simply about the desire to win a race.
Q1: It's all the other things of the universe coming together to create whatever needs to be created.
P'taah: Absolutely, absolutely. And why do people run races?
Q1: To compete, I guess.
P'taah: Very often it is for the joy of running. But sometimes it is not, and it is that idea of competitiveness, the idea to win, the idea of winners and losers. You understand? It is not simply about winning a race.
Q1: Right.
P'taah: And that goes for everything in your life. There is no one answer.
Q1: Okay, right. Is there a simple ritual that is useful to add to the manifestation ability?
P'taah: To say 'thank you' for what is. That is the most powerful.
Q1: (Laughs) I like that one!
Q1: Is giving to others or tithing a useful way to help manifestation?
P'taah: It only depends on how you are being whilst you are doing.
Q1: So it's the beingness that is the quality.
P'taah: It is really not about giving to receive. It is really about having so much abundance that it is a joy to share it.
Q1: Okay, good. Another question is, is feeling an emotion? And if not, how do we tell the difference?
P'taah: Emotion and feeling are not quite the same. The emotion is the reaction to the feeling, in a way. It is the energetic response. That is also physiological.
Q1: So I guess I don't know really quite how feeling is being defined.
P'taah: Well, you know, all of it is semantics. You say that it is a response, you see? Something occurs and you feel wonderful and the emotion of wonderful is this and this.
Q1: Whatever reaction that brings.
P'taah: Indeed, the feeling is kind of labeling the idea of the emotion. It is a label, in a way. I feel good. I feel bad. I feel sad, I feel joyous.
Q2: Actually I've tried a little experiment of trying to not label feelings and it's virtually impossible for me.
P'taah: Well, indeed, because it is, in a way, all about the judgment. It is all right to feel this but it is not all right to feel that. That is how you are brought up. It is very bad for you to feel angry at your parents. It is very bad for you to feel so mad at your little sibling that you want to hit him on the head.
(Laughter)
P'taah: The feeling and the behavior are unacceptable. You see?
But it is all right to show the joy although sometimes it is not all right to laugh out loud.
Q2: (Laughs) Yes! Interesting! So when you try to name it, or when you try not to name it, what's coming up is your judgment.
P'taah: Indeed.
Q2: Interesting. Another hidden thought and belief.
P'taah: Well, you see, that is the nature of the humanities.
Q2: Yes, and if there is nothing to fix, it's okay if I do it, but if I don't do it, that's all right too.
P'taah: Correct.
Q2: Thank you, P'taah!
P'taah: Oh my beloved ones, it is, as always, a great joy to be with you in this way. So, sufficient for this day. With grandest love we issue forth to you all,
Namaste."
