Conversations with P'taah
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 Our monthly Conversations with P'taah continues to be amazing. Every time we wonder what we could possibly talk about this month that would be new and interesting, we find ourselves hosting a guest interviewer who asks questions that open whole new areas for consideration.
The October session certainly fits in that mold. Dennis Bryer, whom many of you know from the bulletin board, was our guest and he started right off asking P'taah to talk in greater depth about who he is. That led to a discussion of whether or not the universe is real and the matrix of reality. Given our secret concern that becoming enlightened and all that bliss might be boring, we were particularly interested in what P'taah said about the creative games that light beings play.
If you've heard Conversations and think you'd like to talk with P'taah yourself, personal sessions are still available by telephone. For more information, visit the website or call 1-760-366-0375.
Volunteers Wanted!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We had an awesome response when we asked for volunteer transcribers. Unfortunately we didn't expect so many of you to answer and we really dropped the ball in making contact and following up. If anyone is still interested in transcribing, we now have a system in place and we're interested in working with you.
Also, is there anyone with an audio editing program who would just love to import the old audio tapes into their computer, clean them up a bit and then get them ready to be put on CD?
Thank you!

Message from P'taah
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  "P'taah: So my dear ones, how may I serve you?
Q: You know, the question I would like to ask is how can I serve you?
P'taah: Beloved, it is not required that you serve me but rather that you serve the highest idea of who you can be. You understand? So that as you go about your day-to-days, the way which you may best serve is to live with focus and attention so that you are unfolding into your potential, which is limitless, by the way.
Q: (Laughs) Thank you, P'taah. Another question we had is where we as a species are headed from your viewpoint?
P'taah: Well, the grander answer to this is that, your species is unfolding into its own potential, into its own blueprint, in a way, that the consciousness of humankind will expand. And as it does so, in a way, it takes everything about itself with it. So that as you become beings of light, so you radiate that lightness which touches everything in the reality and you bring forth the light in this way.
Let us give you a little analogy. As we have spoken beforetime about your food, about how it is when you give thanks to the food as you ingest it, so in this spirit of gratitude, of honor, of respect, you actually enlighten the food. You change the frequency so that you are enlightening your own beingness as this food merges in the physical way with your body.
P'taah: And so it is as you expand into your lightness as a species, you take everything with you in lightness because there is nothing in your perception which is untouched by your recognition of the God-ness of all things. Does that make sense?
Q: Yes, I am just thinking of in terms of our species' evolutionary process and you've answered it basically by saying that we are enlightening ourselves through our own increasingly understanding and application of, for instance, the example of the food.
P'taah: This is correct.
Q: Okay, good. That kind of leads into another question. You don't talk about exercise in terms of keeping our bodies fit. Do you see exercise as an important thing from your viewpoint for us as a species?
P'taah: What we would say is important is balance. So indeed if you listen to your body, your body will tell you that it is requiring movement in the same way that when you sit for many hours, when you arise your inclination is to stretch the body, to kind of re-adjust. Well, so it is also that the body will tell you when it is desirous of movement, however that may be, and it is of benefit to listen to the body.
In the same way as it is for hunger, it is beneficial for the body to have the balance of what you ingest. When you listen to the body, it will tell you if it is requiring sustenance. In your culture, this is not so practiced with the super-abundance, you see, and with the habituate of ingestion. But again, as you live with attention, and as you state forth your desire to be in the balance of the body with mind and spirit, so it is that you will find that you are desirous of exercise in the body. It's really about being sensitive, you know.
Q: You know, P'taah, I've been blessing the food, thanking the food and all of that and just realized that the reason it isn't working the way I expected it to is because I don't always wait to eat until I'm hungry.
P'taah: Indeed.
Q: I mean it seems so simple but you're right. It's noon or 6:00 o'clock or whatever time it is and it's time to eat.
P'taah: Well, you know, there are some days you arise and you really do not feel hunger at all because you have supped well the night before and yet you will still put food in the body. And if you start your day in this fashion, then you will continue in this fashion, you understand?
Q: Yes.
P'taah: So it is simply about paying attention.
Q: Another question was about the Morning Song where you are thanking the universes for the perfect body or the health. What if you can't feel the abundance? How can you sing that song without feeling that underlying negative emotion.
P'taah: All right. Initially, it may well be negative. However, it is important that intellectually each of you can acknowledge the perfection of the body. And when you understand how it works, in its integrity, of listening to every thought, being in the awareness of every emotion, what it is doing is showing you who you are, what you are not acknowledging, what you are not dealing with, what you are not resolving. And when you can at least intellectually acknowledge that the body is indeed a perfect machine and that it serves you most wondrously, you see, you can say thank you for that even when the emotions are not involved because as more and more you come to really see and to understand this perfection, then the emotions will be involved.
Q: Yes.
P'taah: So you may certainly just do it from an intellectual standpoint if it is that you cannot be emotionally involved because we say that the more you say the 'thank yous', indeed the emotions will be involved. Does that make sense?
Q: Yes, it does.
P'taah: All right, and so it is for every other part of the Morning Song. Because in a way you know or have known in your life these truths, perhaps not all of them at the same time. But again, as you can look at those words and look at your life, you can acknowledge that even if it is not at this moment, you have known the truth of it. You could say, in a way, that the Morning Song may be an act of faith to begin with until you really unfold into the truth.
Q: And so again, as with the eating, it's really a matter of paying attention to what it is that you are saying.
P'taah: It is, and also as you go about your day, to pay attention to the truth of the abundance, and where you are focusing on lack, catch yourself focusing on the lack and say, "Where is the abundance in this? or "What is the grander truth in this?"
Q: And it is always there somewhere.
P'taah: It always is.
Q: And this is a little far afield, but it's always our co-creation, never somebody doing it to us.
P'taah: Absolutely. Wherever you perceive lack, very often it is simply a perception. Certainly when you talk about your health, the absence of good health, you may say, the lack of good health may be a physical reality. But within the physical reality is held the non-physical reality, and in the non-physical reality is the possibility or probability for change. Or you indeed can look to view the ill-health in a different way to see where the gift is and what the abundance of that gift presents to you in order for you to be in the fullness.
P'taah: Is it clear?
Q: Yes, I see.
P'taah: All right, my beloved ones. Sufficient for this day. With grandest love to each and every one of you,
Namaste."
