Tomorrow, Friday May 18 at 10 a.m. Governor John Hickenlooper will sign into law HB-1286, the "Film Production Activities in Colorado" bill. This milestone will take place at High Noon Entertainment, one of Colorado's largest content creators.

 

The fill incentive bill features a 20% rebate on qualified local expenditures for film, television, commercials, games and other forms of content creation, as well as a loan guarantee program for films. A 50% local hire requirement is also in place. The minimum spend requirements will be $1 million for out of state productions and $100,000 for productions originating in Colorado.
 
Please attend and show your support and appreciation for the Governor and the legislators who have supported the film industry and fought for increased incentives.
