10 Week MBA - NxLeveL for Creative Entrepreneurs and Business Start-Ups

Twenty-four participants enrolled in the NxLeveL program , which started on September 7th, representing creative businesses such as fashion, filmmaking, furniture and graphic design. NxLeveL is a 10-session, 30-hour course that addresses questions every entrepreneur needs to answer before starting a business venture.

"As I like to say, creatives graduate with a Masters of Fine Art, not Finance, but they often need to act like a business to succeed in their field. The NxLeveL course is a great way for creative entrepreneurs to gain business acumen in a comprehensive setting," says Ginger White, senior economic development specialist for the Denver Office of Cultural Affairs' Create Denver program.

Matthew Colella is the creative director at blue13creative and is blogging about the class every week.
