J.B. Kenehan is a high quality sheetfed and web printer specializing in digest, standard and custom sized books, catalogs, inserts and components. Their 80,000 square foot plant in Waukesha, Wisconsin houses a mix of specialized equipment including web and sheet fed presses, specialty cutting machinery, along with equipment that performs scoring, folding, drilling, shrink wrap, and fulfillment. J.B. Kenehan desired to enhance and expand the variety of their services and engaged Promontory Point Capital to identify a specialty add-on acquisition. Conley Printing, a previous client of PPC, performs high quality web printing for standard and tabloid sized publications, inserts, and catalogs. Conley's operation includes multiple web presses, but also provided additional value-added capabilities including perfect binding, in-line and offline mailing, polybagging, tipping and additional fulfillment. The combination of the two companies allows for further growth in the industry, provides an impressive menu of printing and value-added services, as well as a vast pool of talent and expertise in printing.
